9th Annual Art & Soul Oakland
August 15-16, 2009! A new date, but the same great entertainment value condensed into two music-packed days with Jazz, Rock, Gospel, Latin, R&B, Smooth Jazz and Blues. Youngsters will love the kid-friendly carnival rides, interactive art projects, face painting and roaming costumed characters. Stroll through the Artisan Marketplace, sample exotic foods and tasty treats from a multicultural menu, watch exciting dance performances, and view and create art. Art & Soul is Northern California's most accessible festival with direct transit access from BART and free parking for thousands of cars.
